All my life I have been a huge dog lover and have found that I have always had a special bond with them from an early age.
I always wanted to do something my canine friends and have groomed all my own dogs as well and friends and families for over 30 years.So the idea of doing it professionally was an obvious course of actioned and so undertook a professional grooming course. I picked it up quickly and with my attachment to the dogs found they settled so well with me my grooming improved daily and it wasn’t long before some of the dogs I had attended were winning best of show in local Dog Show competitions.
So the salon was opened and business is now booming. Its been going now for over 12 years.
Mischievous dogs’ are rarely naughty at Skruffs 2 Kruffs as they settle in to a quiet, calm environment that is always designed for their comfort. Cages are used very rarely but if your pooch prefers a cage they will have a thick dog blanket to lie on, their own clean towel and any favourite toy that they can bring with them and always fresh water. The cage is left opened.
We do not ‘tie up’ the dogs on grooming tables. Dogs are handled professionally, always with care and with great kindness and consideration.
Parking outside our Home Based Salon is never a problem and a cup of fresh coffee is never far away. We have a large exercise area within a few feet of the Salon and if you are in a bit of a hurry will be happy to walk your dog around before his or her clip to relieve them if needed.
My philosophy is to provide the best quality care for you and your dog. I look at the dog holistically and treat them as such. Being one of only salons that do this you will not only have the best looking dog in town, your dog will enjoy the experience and have a pleasant day out.
